New Zealand Health Group (NZHG) is partnering with OTRS, a leading community provider of highly-specialised support services to help more New Zealanders to remain independent and live full and connected lives.
OTRS, a provider of Transport for Independence and Medical Fitness to Drive assessments, joins more than 200 specialist health, disability, and wellbeing support services offered under the NZHG umbrella.
This exciting partnership will enable NZHG to deliver even more comprehensive care and support across Aotearoa, helping more New Zealanders remain happy, healthy, and independent in their own homes and communities.
NZHG Chief Executive Mike Peters says as Aotearoa’s largest nationwide home and community-based healthcare provider, we’re more determined than ever to boost our capabilities and create a future where everyone has access to the support they need to thrive, right where they are.
“We’re excited to partner with OTRS – a leading provider of Transport for Independence and Medical Fitness to Drive assessments – and offer New Zealanders with more specialised support services that promote their independence and give them greater choice and control about how they live their lives.
“Increasing access to healthcare and support services is key to a healthier, more equitable Aotearoa and this partnership will support more people in our communities to access the support they need, when and where they need it.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the highly-skilled OTRS Team to our NZHG whānau and continue our mission of equitable wellbeing for all New Zealanders.”
With a dedicated team of over 10,000 frontline carers, support workers, nurses, and other health professionals, New Zealand Health Group provides more than 200 specialist services to thousands of people and their whānau every day. By partnering with OTRS, we’re now able to add Medical Driving Assessments, Commercial Vehicle Driving Assessments, Vehicle Modifications Assessments, and Therapy in Schools, to our capabilities.
